Cai Yuesheng is an associate professor of the School of Foreign LanguagesinShenzhen Technology University, Shenzhen, China. Her research interests include computer-mediated instruction, English for Occupational Purposes (EOP), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), corpus linguistics and discourse analysis. She was the principal investigator or participator at various levels of research projects on English as a foreign language (EFL) learning and instruction, cohesive ties analysis in English discourse, phonetics and cross-culture communications. She has published scores of peer-reviewed research papers on EFL listening instruction, task-based and content-based EAP/EOP instructions in speaking as well as on discourse analysis and translation. She has been awarded many times for teaching excellency.
