Name: ZHONG Ling

Title: Professor

Professor ZHONG Ling is dean of the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) at Shenzhen Technology University (SZTU). She earned her BA in1994 from Lanzhou University, her MA in 2002 from Renmin University of China, and PhD in 2012 from China Agricultural University. She worked as vice chair and associate professor in the Foreign Languages Department and later in the Department of International Development Studies of the College of Humanities and Development Studies (COHD) at China Agricultural University from June 1994 to June 2017. She joined SZTU in June 2007. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Luton in the United Kingdom from September 2005 to January 2006, and an adjunct associate professor from February 2013 to February 2014 in the Social Policy Research Center (SPRC) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. Her teaching fields include English, intercultural communication, European culture and African culture, her research interests address the fields of region and country studies, intercultural communication, and international development studies.
