Dr. ZHOU is currently a German Lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages, Shenzhen Technology University. She majored in German Language and Literature at Hefei University from 2008 to 2012, studied for a master's degree in International Relations at Shanghai International Studies University, and then earned her Ph.D. in International Relations (2020). She won a government scholarship from the Technische Universität Braunschweig (2010). During her Ph.D. program (2016-2020), ZHOU worked as a joint doctoral student at the Institute of Political Science of Tübingen Universität for one year, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the German Academic Exchange Center (DAAD). Dr. ZHOU has rich experience in German Language teaching and technical translation. She also has project management experience from German enterprises such as Zeiss, BASF, Volkswagen, Eisenmann etc. Meanwhile, Dr. ZHOU has academic research experience in International Political Economy, European Studies, and German Studies. Her new books including the monograph Studies on Euro Area's Motivation to RMB Internationalization (forthcoming) and a co-translation book Hans Tietmeyer: Ein Leben für ein stabiles Deutschland und dynamisches Europa shall be published in 2021.
