Title: Senior Lecturer
Dr. Hua Congchao got her PhD degree in Applied Linguistics from City University of Hong Kong. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in English Language Teaching from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Before joining SZTU, she gained over ten years’ experience in English language teaching at the tertiary level. The courses she teaches at SZTU include university English and English pronunciation. Apart from teaching, she also conducts research on second language teaching and learning, especially the acquisition of English prosody by Chinese learners. She has presented her research results at various international academic conferences in Asia and Europe and published about ten academic articles in international journals, including four SSCI-indexed journals and two ESCI-indexed journals.
