Title: Associate Professor
Dr. YAO received his BA(2007), MA(2010) and PhD(2015) degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in mainland China and another doctorate from City University of Hong Kong(2015). He is keen on interdisciplinary studies and his main research interests include modern and contemporary Chinese literature and film, religious culture and literature and Hmong studies. Dr. YAO had worked at Guizhou University for five years before he joined Shenzhen Technology University in June 2020. By then, he had completed eight projects and published around 20 journal articles in fields mentioned above.
